Black Phoenix Waltz

"The Black Waltz lives on. His remains were salvaged and given new form. He rises from the ashes as a phoenix, an immortal fire bird. He returns, wreathed in flames of many colors. The Black Waltz is undeterred. He will find the Princess and return her to the Queen no matter what it takes. After all, there is only one way to kill a phoenix, and that is... repeatedly."

This is my entry to the Season of Fire Contest. I hope it can still be accepted.

Items used were Oslo paper, oil pastels/ cray pass and an empty ball pen.

I said before I couldn't draw, so I had to come up with something else. In the end, I decided to go with cray pass scratch art. First layer is several strips of different colors. Second layer is all black. Then I used the empty ball pen to scratch out the image.
